“So they left and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and leaving the guard on watch. Suddenly, there was a violent earthquake; an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled the stone away, and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and His clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid that they trembled and became like dead men.” Matthew 27:66, 28:2-4

Even though your star is buried, you will rise again. Suddenly, God will raise you! When God says it’s your time to be lifted and celebrated, no power, no force can hold you down. Just one YES from Him will change a million NOS. As someone who has been through a lot of challenges, I can tell you that God never abandons His people. He always sits in the gap for the oppressors. Even in the scriptures, He sided with the underdogs. When it’s your time, God will dismantle every roadblock to your success, and move you from the back to the front line. He’s a God who breaks protocols. He’s a God who breaks barriers. He’s the conquering, conquering, conqueror. The chief priests and Pharisees thought they could hold Jesus down, but God was ready to raise Him. It was His time.  So, when people imply that your crippling situation won’t change; remind them that God has the power over the graveyard. If He could raise His son, Jesus, He’ll do same for you. You see, after God has spoken, every other speaker is a latecomer. The guards at the tomb couldn’t change God’s decision neither did the seal. They thought Jesus was buried not knowing He was planted. No matter how excruciating the pain of persecution is, your day of liberation is coming. Your desert will turn into an orchard. If it’s taking too long, it means God is getting ready to show off. Your waiting is not in vain. Savor the process.

Imagine how the guards took to their heels when they realized Jesus had risen. That must have been dramatic. It was a kind of miracle that had them trembling with fear. It wasn’t the normal I-made-it kind of miracle. It was the who-would-have-thought kind of miracle. This uncommon miracle was made possible through the power of resurrection, and you can benefit from it; if you believe. Do not tell God how your problems are; tell your problems how big your God is. He’s well able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we envisaged, according to His power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20. God allowed you to experience humiliation and torture so that your miracle will dazzle the world. It’s not yet over. If you still have a pulse, rejoice for God is preparing a banquet for you.

Often, people think they have one’s destiny all figured out; they mistreat you because they believe they have the clout, but if you’ll stay in faith, God will lift you from the shallow grave you were buried. Isn’t it interesting how God lifts His people without seeking others opinions? When the lion of the tribe of Judea roars, situations change, dry bones rise again. No matter how daunting the process, the prize outweighs the pain. Stay in faith, child of God. As the grave couldn’t hold Jesus back, so nothing shall hold you back from being prosperous. People can break you, but your vision still remains. The value of N1000 doesn’t change because it’s rumpled. No matter how they malign you, understand that you are precious in the eyes of the creator. Don’t worry about what they think of you because their opinions do not matter. When God decides to lift you, He would do so without their consent. The devil thought he was winning two days after Jesus’ death. But suddenly, on the third day, there was an earthquake and the son of man arose.  It’s time to put on your armor of faith. The language of God is the language of faith. So, you might want to change your language if you are speaking a different language.

Do not let your heart be troubled. There’s about to be a suddenly in your life. The power of resurrection will shatter everything that held you down. Lazarus was in the tomb for four days before Jesus arrived; the stone was rolled away and he arose. Jairus’ daughter was already dead before Jesus’ arrival, but her death didn’t stop God’s plan from manifesting; she too was raised from the dead. Job lost everything he had, but God gave him double for his troubles. If God performed these miracles without hindrance, He’ll do same for you. Like Mordecai was remembered, you too will be remembered. Rest assured that He hasn’t forgotten about you. He’s still the same yesterday, today and forever. The pain you feel today is the strength you’ll need tomorrow. After suffering, there must be a banquet. After crucifixion comes celebration. Every setback must produce a comeback.

God demands that you lose a lot, in order to be given a lot.

What are you willing to lose to experience the power of Resurrection? Are you willing to die to self in order to enjoy all the blessings God has in stock for you? Often, we say we are waiting on God, but in the actual sense, He is waiting on us to rid ourselves of every filthy lifestyle. God blesses no mess. God will only raise you when you aspire to be like Him. This is a very inconvenient truth, but I must tell it.  Stop operating under the spirit of limitation by fornicating. How do you expect God to bless you with your own husband when you are holding on to another’s? You want to prosper but you swindle your boss at any given opportunity? A plane cannot land when the landing strip is messy. God cannot deliver our blessings when we aren’t ready to receive them. It’s time to clear the landing strip. You don’t want the power of resurrection to elude you. As you walk in faith and obedience today, I pray the Balm of Gilead locates you for healing and restoration.
