When you cry to God and your relief is met by deafening silence, understand He’s at work. “The silence of God is speaking volumes in your life positively.” Fr. Ebube Muonso.  God’s silence is a seminar on faith and trust for you.  When Jesus found out that Lazarus was ill, He didn’t rush to Lazarus’ house to heal him. Instead, Jesus stayed where He was for two more days(John 11:6) and before Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus died. To Mary and Martha, Jesus’ silence could have been interpreted as neglect. But after He raised Lazarus from the dead, they were drawn into a new closeness to God and understanding of His power.  Recognize that God can be silent. There’s no obligation for God to answer you or let you know anything. Just trust Him to use that disorder to create a new order in your life. He’s in control and can be trusted. His silence isn’t a licence to give up. Instead, it’s an invitation to press forward and seek Him more diligently. Be determined not to let Him go unless He blesses you.  Don’t be distracted by people who make cutting remarks about your situation. Keep believing. They may think they have your story and ending all figured out. But when God is finished with you, they’ll have to stand back and eat their words. They thought you were buried. They didn’t know you were planted. That momentary affliction is for a purpose- everlasting glory. Wait for it. Your morning is coming! Your morning is nowww!
