“Faith” according to Catholic catechism is the supernatural gift from God which enables us to believe without doubting.
Hebrew 11:1 says “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and certainty of what we do not see”.
Faith is like a house; it must be built on a strong foundation if it is going to stand tests and storms. Faith’s foundation is the word of God. you cannot build a great and strong faith life without the Word of God. The best part about this truth is that the Word of God will never fail.
King Solomon understood the power of God’s promises when saw the lord keep his words to his father King David, with the completion of the temple (Israel’s house of faith), in Jerusalem Solomon declared at its dedication, “Praise be to Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises He gave through his servant Moses” (1Kings 8:56).
Another significant case of “Faith” in the bible is story of the woman with the issue of blood according to Luke 8:43-48, she had Faith that a touch of his garment will her heal and her Faith made her whole indeed.
Nothing has changed since that time concerning the promises of God. God wants to be the foundation of your personal house of Faith, and He is still fulfilling His promises. Therefore, you can trust Him to do what He has said.
